Veni is a Senior Engineer at the US Geological Survey. She is also the founder of Diversify Tech and Code with Veni.

Veni was named a Powerful Woman Programmer by DCFemTech. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and an M.S in Computer Science with a focus in Data Science. She has been in tech for over 15 years and considers herself a jill of all trades. She has done database migrations, server setup, backend development, frontend development and mobile application development.

At the USGS, she modernizes legacy applications for scientists and researchers.

She is passionate about getting more underrepresented people into tech and supporting them on their journey. She runs Code with Veni, a newsletter to encourage and support women and non-binary devs.

At Diversify Tech, she connects underrepresented people in tech to scholarships, jobs, events and other opportunities.
